Using Clippr

Clippr is run by Ad Gen LLC (“we”). By creating an account or using Clippr, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Clippr.

You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you use Clippr for a team or business, you agree for them too.

You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your Clippr account.

Your streams and clips

Only import recordings you own or have permission to edit and post. Importing someone else’s stream without permission is not allowed.

You keep all rights to your recordings and the clips you make. You give us permission to store, process and render them only to run Clippr for you, including sending audio, transcripts and sampled frames to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

Recordings and their clips are deleted 7 days after the clips are ready, so download or post the ones you want to keep. Clippr is not a backup, so keep copies of anything you need.

What you can’t do

Don’t use Clippr to break the law or anyone else’s rights, including copyright, privacy and the terms of the platforms you import from or post to.

Don’t make clips that harass or threaten people, sexualise minors, or promote violence or hate.

Don’t try to get around plan limits, open accounts to farm free hours, overload Clippr, probe it for weaknesses, or scrape or resell it.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Think something on Clippr infringes your copyright? Email support@useclippr.com with the content, your work, and your contact details, and we’ll look into it.

AI picks and edits

Clippr uses AI to pick moments, write captions and frame your video. It can be wrong: it may miss moments, mishear words or crop badly. Review every clip before you post it. You’re responsible for what you publish.

Plans, hours and payments

The Free plan includes 3 stream hours a month, with 720p exports and a small Clippr mark. Paid plans and prices are on the Pricing page.

Hours are used when a recording starts analysis, and come back if an analysis fails. Plan hours renew monthly and don’t roll over. A top-up adds 5 hours for $10.

Stripe processes payments and sells Clippr plans and top-ups to you as the merchant of record. Stripe’s checkout terms apply to your purchase, and sales tax is added where required.

Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Account; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires, payments are not refundable.

We may change prices or plan limits. We’ll tell you before a change affects a plan you’ve paid for.

Posting to YouTube

If you connect a YouTube channel, Clippr uploads and schedules only the clips you choose. Clippr uses YouTube API Services, and by connecting you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy also applies.

You can disconnect from the Publishing page at any time, or remove Clippr’s access in your Google account settings.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account. Your recordings, clips, saved work and YouTube connection are then removed. Videos already posted to other platforms are not affected.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Clippr or other users at risk.

No guarantees

Clippr is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and your files safe, but we don’t promise it will always be available, be error-free, or find any particular number of clips.

To the extent the law allows, Ad Gen LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Clippr in the 12 months before it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Clippr after that means you accept the new terms.
